"I used goto.com for a little while..."
I used goto.com for a little while, but I never felt totally comfortable with the privacy stuff. The settings were kinda confusing, and I couldn’t really tell what info they were collecting or sharing. The security details didn’t feel very clear either. Maybe it’s totally fine, idk, but I just didn’t trust it enough to keep using it.

"It was fine at first, then kind of fell apart"
It worked okay when there were just a few of us, honestly. Like, for a tiny team it’s not bad. But once we started adding more people and trying to use it across the business, things got messy quickly. Stuff that seemed simple before suddenly felt clunky, and I don’t know, it just didn’t scale the way we needed. Fine in the beginning, but not something I’d want to rely on as the team grows.

"Just didn’t feel right from the start"
I tried setting up goto for our team, my first instinct was that something was going to be more complicated than it needed to be. The onboarding felt all over the place, and I kept having to bounce between help pages just to figure out basic things. When I reached out to support, the response was slow and didn’t really solve what I was stuck on. "Not gonna lie, billing and canceling were a headache"
Not gonna lie, trying to cancel goto.com was way more annoying than it should’ve been. I thought I had canceled, but I still got billed afterward. Support kept bouncing me around, and I had to explain the same issue more than once, which got old fast. It really felt like nobody was actually taking care of it. Frustrating experience overall, and I wouldn’t use it again.

"Managing users feels way harder than it should"
Trying to manage users in GoToMeeting made me want to scream into the void. The admin tools feel all over the place, and even tiny changes somehow turn into a whole journey. Adding or removing people should be a quick thing, not a mini survival mission through confusing settings. I kept clicking around feeling totally lost, and by the end I was just exhausted. Definitely not a smooth experience...

"Integrations were a mess for us"
I tried using goto.com with our CRM and calendar, and it got frustrating almost immediately. I expected a little setup time, but not the kind where you’re basically forced to be patient while things randomly don’t work.
The sync kept breaking, contacts would disappear or not show up, and some meetings didn’t connect the way they were supposed to. Support mostly sent the same basic troubleshooting steps I had already tried, which just made the whole thing feel even more drawn out.

Maybe it’s fine if you stay inside their own tools, but with our setup it felt clunky and unreliable. We spent way too much time babysitting integrations that should have just worked in the background

"Calls keep dropping and I feel passed around"
I’ve been frustrated with goto.com lately. My calls keep freezing or dropping even though my internet works fine for everything else. Some days it’s okay, but then the next meeting won’t connect properly or the audio starts cutting in and out for no clear reason.

It’s really stressful when I’m trying to speak with clients and have to keep leaving and rejoining. I also felt kind of passed around by support, since they mostly gave me basic troubleshooting steps I had already tried and nothing really got fixed. I wouldn’t recommend it if you need something dependable.

"Recording quality was bad"
Uh, my meeting recording came out really choppy, and the audio kept cutting in and out the whole time. I reached out to support, but they didn’t really help much. Frustrating, especially since it was after a client call.

"Honestly felt way too expensive for what it offers"
I really wanted to like this, but the cost just kept creeping up once I started actually using it. At first it seemed like the price might be okay, but then when you factor in the extra features or whatever else you need to make it fully useful, it starts feeling like you’re paying a lot more than you expected. And the frustrating part is that I found other tools that do basically the same things for less money. Maybe there are some small differences if you dig really deep into every feature, but for my day-to-day use, I just couldn’t justify the price. It’s not terrible, it just didn’t feel worth what they’re charging.

"Felt incomplete after we paid"
We tried goto for our small team, it felt like something that was still being finished. It looked fine at first, but once we actually paid and started setting things up, I started getting that uneasy feeling that we’d been sold on more than it could really deliver.

A lot of basic features I assumed would be included were either missing or locked behind higher-priced plans. Reporting was bare, the admin controls felt limited, and the integrations we needed were either clunky or didn’t do enough to be useful.

Support mostly sent us help articles, which didn’t really solve anything when the features just weren’t there. After paying, I definitely didn’t feel confident trusting the platform long term. For the price, I expected a lot more, so we moved on after a few weeks.

"Calls keep dropping and the setup is a hassle"
The calls keep dropping and the video is blurry or laggy almost every time. The audio cuts in and out too, which makes it really frustrating to use. I also hate that there are so many steps just to get things working, especially when it still doesn’t perform well afterward.

"Why is everything so hidden?"
I tried using GoTo for a few meetings it drove me a little nuts. The menus aren’t very clear, the settings feel like they’re tucked away on purpose, and I kept clicking around like I was trying to uncover some secret file just to do basic stuff. Joining a call should be one of the easiest parts, but somehow it took way longer than it needed to. Maybe if you use it every single day you learn where they’ve buried everything, but for me it was confusing and not really worth the hassle.

"Screen sharing kept freezing"
I tried using GoTo for a client call, and the screen share kept freezing every few minutes. The audio was working fine, but no one could actually see what I was doing, which made the whole thing frustrating. On top of that, the email made it sound like everything would be simple and smooth, so I was a bit confused when it kept giving us problems. We ended up wasting almost half the meeting trying to work around it.

"Took way too long to get a response"
I reached out to support and just never heard back. I kept waiting for some kind of reply, but nothing came through. Frustrating when you’re trying to get help and it feels like your message just disappeared

"Just a heads up for anyone thinking of..."
Just a heads up for anyone thinking of relying on this app a lot: on my phone it’s been frustrating. It freezes often and randomly logs me out, so I end up having to restart it and sign back in. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, because right now it’s more annoying than helpful
